Okay, I am back with the headcanon posts with one of my favourite topics, here we go…

• As soon as it gets to the point where Theo can’t reach her own feet anymore, Philip paints her toenails for her; he offered after he woke up one evening to find her crying in frustration with paint smudges on her feet nearly everywhere except her actual nails. He’s surprisingly good at it and he does them in really nice, bright colours and with flowers and patterns and all that to make her smile and help her feel pretty. A lot of their evenings are spent with Theo watching TV and falling asleep with Pip sticking his tongue out in concentration as he uses a toothpick to paint little hearts on her toenails. He does it for her when she’s in labour too to calm her down.
  
• The two of them have a policy that Theo is allowed one Rant a day, that can last as long as she needs it to and she gets to rage about every single thing that sucks about being pregnant and swear as much as she likes and Pip isn’t allowed to interrupt with any solutions to her problems. He just has to nod and agree with her that it’s the worst, yeah. This is a result of his habit of trying to fix every single little thing that’s wrong with her, rather than just listening. Pip’s not a great listener, he’s more of a doer. 
• Theo gets incredibly frustrated when she gets too big to steal Philip’s clothes anymore cos they just won’t fit. Pip is sympathetic, but secretly pleased that now he gets that one green check shirt back that she always wears, even though she knows its his favourite. Theo is very unhappy though and demands that Pip tell their children to stop making her fat. This then leads to some Theo-self-esteem-boosting sex, which happens a lot these days. 
• Theo has a lot of Feelings when she’s pregnant and not a lot of them are good, the whole thing really fires up her anxiety and depression, its not easy for her at all. So on the advice of Eliza, who had something similar when she was expecting Pip and Alex was away at war for most of it, she starts writing letters to the babies, very honest ones where she doesn’t have to hide all of her worries and everything, like she sometimes has to do when she talks to Philip. It really helps a lot, getting to write it all down like this and feel like someone is listening. 
• If Theo had her way, she would spend the entire nine months in bed and just not get up at all except to go to the kitchen for more food. Philip needs to use every negotiation tactic he knows to get her to get out of bed and do her stretches and exercises. It does eventually work but Pip also has to deal with her falling asleep without any notice and on random surfaces like the kitchen table or when she’s in the bath. 
• Pip and Theo have a rescue dog called Penelope and she becomes very protective of Theo while she’s pregnant, curling up near her and growling at any potential threat that comes near, which unfortunately includes Philip. “Penny, what are you growling at me for, I made them??” Theo just cuddles Penny and tells her what a good job she’s doing, she will accept no bad words about her princess. 
• Even as Theo is a major grump, Philip is the most excited he’s ever been in his life. He does absolutely everything he can for her and spends hours with his head resting on her stomach and making cookies for her at two in the morning with absolutely no complaint and telling her every five minutes how much he loves her. 

YES HELLO I could talk about these sweet bisexual angels until the cows come home. These kind of all span a few different AUs and half of them are your ideas, you nerd, so you’ll have to bear with me. 

• Right so yes, Theo is definitely into girls too and she stumbles upon this fact while she’s staying with the Lafayette’s one summer (during the time she and Pip are in a very confused and hormonal, will they won’t they kind of phase). And she has a romance with Virginie, the youngest of the Lafayette kids who’s the same age as her, a very out and proud bi girl and incredibly gorgeous. It starts off with a kiss during a game of truth or dare and then kind of escalates when they end up sharing a bed and it all just kind of rolls from there. It’s very sweet and passionate, Ginnie takes such good care of Theo and helps her discover so much about herself and its Perfect. They’re both more than a little heartbroken when they have to end it as Theo goes home but they keep writing (kinda sexy) letters to each other for a while. 
  
• (And then, a few years later, after she and Pip have gotten together and its all nice there, Virginie moves over to America for school and then Theo has a whole crisis because she’s missed Virginie but she loves Pip so much and oh jeez until Ginnie kind of floats the idea that, if they’re all game maybe they could just all? date? each other?? And boosh, Pip/Theo/Ginnie)
• Theo doesn’t make a big deal out of the fact that she likes guys and girls, its just a part of her she’s very happy with and proud of. Her coming out isn’t a big thing, just her causally mentioning it to her dad and other people in a take it or leave it kind of way. Aaron is very supportive, obviously, he loves everything about his precious daughter. Alex gives her a huge high five and tells her ‘all the best people are, welcome to the club.’ Pip and her have kind of a ‘oh wait, you too??’ moment. Eliza gives her the hugest hug that lifts her right off her feet and tells her that she’s perfect and she loves her so much. 
• It actually comes in very useful when the younger Hamiltons come out, Theo is a very calming presence for them, especially Angie and AJ who both love her and look up to her. Angie comes to her for advice on girls a lot and its very sweet. Theo feels like a proper Big Sister, she adores it. 
• Theo goes to ballet class, she has for years, and has a major crush on a lot of the girls there because dang, they’re all beautiful. She comes and tells Pip all about them and he just rolls his eyes like, “Are you in that class honestly just to check out girls?” 
• In another kinda separate AU, Theo and Philip have a good few years of casually sleeping around before they end up together, as friends with benefits and then as a couple. These years are a lot of fun, a lot of Pip leaning over at parties and nudging Theo like “Guy in the white shirt over there, any good?” and Theo shaking her head, “Nah, you would not believe the shit he’s into. And he’s an awful kisser. Solid 2/10, would not recommend.” And Theo asking Philip to drive her and her one night stand home because she’s drunk. And a lot of them seeing the same person at the same time and having to rock paper scissors for it. 
• Theo goes to the pride parade with the Hamilton’s and its a lot of fun getting her face painted and having Pip and Alex and AJ there for support and getting to be really proud of who she is. It’s nice.
